We are chartered town planning consultants who have been appointed by the landowner to assist with obtaining planning permission for the development of land off Parr Lane in Eccleston. This includes seeking the views of the local community to help influence the proposals.
The siteThe subject sites extends to approximately 1.5 hectres of land located to the north east of Eccleston, south of Parr Lane. The site has existing housing to the north and west, together with the Eccleston recreational grounds to the south. There are hedgerows, trees and / or ditches defining the eastern, southern and northern boundaries. The land is currently safeguarded for development in the Local Plan.
The proposalsThe proposals are at an early stage and nothing has been finalised, however, it is envisaged that the scheme could potentially deliver:
- A minimum of 14 standard size community allotments (circa 1,500 square metres), with each plot having a shed, water supply and parking.
- Circa 35 new homes, including bungalows, affordable housing, smaller 3 bedroom dwellings as well as larger family homes.
It is anticipated that the housing would be accessed off Sandringham Road, although there would be a separate access for the allotments off Richmond Road.
